My First Bible Study

Wow! I just finished eating supper and washing dishes; I didn't want to eat until after the Bible study.

We had 15 people (including myself)! Let me say it again: Wow!

I got some really good feedback this evening. I think the ladies enjoyed themselves too.

I know I did!

I made them sugar cookies, decaf coffee, and iced tea.

I need to thank my pastor for his advice too. His suggestions were definitely helpful! He's had many years of experience leading a small group Bible study, and I'm grateful that he talked to me about this yesterday. :o)

Thank you, Lord, for a wonderful evening! I had so much fun! Please be with all of these wonderful women all week long and bless them. Thank you for giving me so much peace! I was shocked at the natural timing of the scripture reading and discussion; we ended exactly one hour after we began, and that's when we started to pray. No one seemed to mind sticking around for 15 minutes, and a few of them stayed even longer just to chat.

Father, I pray that everyone else feels as blessed as I do. I enjoyed the fellowship and prayer time immensely. Help us to continue our walk together in peace and love. In Jesus' name, amen.

Michelle, I am *~so~* happy to read that your first bible study went to well! What great news! But then again, how could anyone have NOT enjoyed herself since you're such a sweetheart, and you went ahead with it with God's OK!

I checked with Canada Post online today and they said that your package is in the state with you as we speak... so it shouldn't be much longer. I know I'm tired of waiting... I assumed that when I was told 5 business days, that it would mean 5 business days! But who am I to question our great snail mail system?

And, I have a little prayer request for you if you don't mind... that pesky ear/dizzy thing still hasn't gone away and so I went back to the dr today. He's referring me to an ear specialist and we'll go from there. I just so ready for it to go away, so hopefully they can get to the bottom of things! I'm expecting him to call me at home tonight or tomorrow.

Anyway... have a great evening!
Thanks for your prayers, Kim

Let's pray right now:

Father, please touch Kim's ear! Heal her completely, Lord! I pray that when the doctor calls she'll be able to say, "Oh, nevermind...I'm feeling much better now!" Wouldn't that be a wonderful testament to your faithfulness, Lord?

Please bless her and remove all discomfort and pain, Jesus! I know You're able to do this because you are the King of kings and Lord of lords! Your Words says that nothing is impossible with you, Father, and I believe You!

Thank you for your mercy and your grace! In Jesus' name, amen!!!!

Thanks Michelle, and also for your wonderful comments on my blog!

If you think that in those pics the girls and I look alike, you should see the baby pics! Julianna and I are identical, and Emily and Robyn are two peas in a pod!

You are soooooo welcome, my dear!

I got my digital camera to work; it turns out that I had the battery in backwards.

My kids were cracking up!

Anyway, now that I'm taking pictures, there should be some new ones up soon.

One son is identical to me, but the other is identical to his dad. You'll see soon!

I hope you're feeling better!
