I'm thankful to T.O.P.S.: Take Off Pounds Sensibly. It's just like Weight Watchers, but it's only $2 per week instead of $12 (and I get to spend time with my church family).
Hopefully, I will get these last few sizes off by my birthday in August.

How have you been? I visited your blog two days ago, but I was in a hurry. I was supposed to be on my way to a meeting, but I wanted to see what you've been up to.
Guess what?!?!? I met a guy "friend"! He's a sweetheart, but we're taking things sickeningly slowly cuz neither one of us wants to get hurt. His name is Joe, and my Mom thinks he's cute. :o) [I think he's pretty adorable too!]
And guess what else?!?!? Joe PRAYED for me! Isn't that cool? He was a pastor for six years and knows his Word. He also has more compassion in his pinky finger than most people can even fathom; he's definitely nicer than I am.
And...I got carded last weekend when I was out with Joe. Ha! The waitress thought I was younger than 21 years old!!!! Yay!!!! (Picture me doing cartwheels here!!!)
Anyway, I will be a whopping 38 years old the next time a birthday rolls around. Getting carded was a cool Christmas present! [FYI: I tried my first margerita...it was yucky. I ended up giving it away because the salt was disgusting. Next time I'll order one with a plain 'ol glass...no salt!]
To make a long story short, I'm enjoying the "getting to know you" process with Joe. I did NOT enjoy dating the first time around, but this isn't so bad. I've already told him that I prefer to start out as friends and see what God is up to, and he was totally cool with that. So far, we're on the same page. I'll keep you posted, especially if we start to date officially. :o)
